Hundreds of students from five area high schools participated in a lip dub contest, where students lip sync to one song in a single take. But which one is the best? You decide the winner of this year's contest between Anacortes, Burlington-Edison, Mount Vernon, Oak Harbor and Sedro-Woolley high schools.
The songs:
- Anacortes: September by Earth, Wind and Fire
- Burlington-Edison: Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus
- Mount Vernon: It’s Tricky by Run D.M.C.
- Oak Harbor: Blame it on the Pop by DJ Earworm
- Sedro-Woolley: Say Hey (I Love You) [feat. Cherine Anderson] by Michael Franti & Spearhead
Get your family and friends to vote for their favorites between Tuesday, April 13 and Friday, April 30. You may cast one vote each day. Registration is required.
The rules each school was asked to follow:
- One continuous shot
- At your school
- Lip sync to a song (basically, a music video) 4. Use as many students from your school as you can
Restrictions:
1. No editing (video, sound, graphics, etc.) 2. All live action 3. Teachers may guide and advise crew but may not operate any production or post production equipment.
